SEED SWAP DAY

Are you a seed saver or have extra seeds at home? Bring them with you to swap and share with others! Swapping isn’t required to participate – seeds are yours to take until we run out. Master Gardeners will also be on site to answer any questions you may have.

CELEBRATE TRAILS DAY

An annual spring celebration of America’s trails, started by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy in 2013. Help us welcome fellow nonprofits making a difference alongside market sponsors to help you get motivated, educated, & inspired to get outside in Alabama this year: learn more

Drive Electric Alabama features an electric vehicle showcase at the Market. The car show begins at 8:00 am. EV owners are here to answer questions for those interested in learning more about driving electric.

WEATHER DAY

It’s National Weather Observers Day, so our friend & meteorologist James Spann is helping us celebrate! Take a selfie, learn severe weather preparation tips, and ask any weather-related questions you may have. The talk & book signing begins at 9:45 AM.

TOMATO DAY

9:00 AM: Drop by to sample a variety of tomatoes grown by Alabama farmers & vote your favorite at the Tomato Taste-Off tent to win free Market swag. Enjoy free tomato sandwiches featuring Hinkel’s Bakery bread!

DRIVE ELECTRIC DAY

PUMPKIN DAY

Celebrate Alabama grown and made fall favorites. Free mini pumpkins grown by Henke Farms will be available while they last! ☀️ A decoration station will be set up In The Kitchen on 29th Street South beginning at 9:00 AM.

SNAPSHOTS WITH SANTA BENEFIT

A fundraiser hosted by Children’s Harbor at Children’s of Alabama: all proceeds from this special event will directly benefit our Family Emergency Assistance Fund. This fund is a lifeline for brave families facing the challenges of having seriously ill children.
