Our mission at Adopt a Golden is to give second chances to Golden Retrievers and Golden Mixes in need with the goal of matching each and every one of them with their forever home.

A.P.C.A.’s goals are to achieve and maintain compliance with national air quality standards, to protect and improve public health, to minimize the economic impacts on existing businesses and support economic growth consistent with clean air goals.
Animal League of BHAM
The Animal League of Birmingham works hard to raise funds for 501(c)(3)non-profit rescues & shelters. This organization was started by a group of women from diverse backgrounds who had a strong desire and a common goal to improve the quality of life for animals in need.
Birmingham Folk Festival
Birmingham Folk Festival strives to foster a sense of community between citizens of Birmingham through showcasing diverse expressions of folk music anduniting community groups from different areas of the city that don’t often have opportunities to gather together.

One of the state’s most popular attractions, the Birmingham Zoo, is an ever-evolving adventure. With approximately 550 animals of 180 species and endangered species from 6 continents, the Birmingham Zoo’s 122-acre site is the perfect place to visit any time of the year.

Childcare Resources makes quality care and education of children happen by providing information, education, and assistance to families, providers of child care, and the community.
Children’s Harbor
Our mission is to strengthen families of seriously ill children through refuge, respite and resources. These unique, no-cost services are offered at both “The Harbor” Family Center located at Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham, and at the Lake Martin retreat facility in Alexander City. Children’s Harbor has been in service since 1989.

Our mission at Greater-Birmingham Alliance to Stop Pollution (G.A.S.P.) is to advance healthy air and environmental justice in the Greater-Birmingham area through education, advocacy and organizing.
GirlSpring
GirlSpring is a Birmingham, Alabama based nonprofit with a global reach! We offer a safe, online community for girls ages 13-18 to share and express themselves through creative content.
Laura Crandall Brown
Laura’s loving and courageous spirit inspired her friends and family to create the Laura Crandall Brown Ovarian Cancer Foundation to honor her life, memory, and vision of helping others.

Studio By The Tracks is a community arts studio serving artists on the autism spectrum. We provide opportunities for social connection and creative expression in a supportive, inclusive environment with all materials and instruction offered at no cost to our Studio Artists.
