Little Sandy Glass is a glassblowing studio in Tuscaloosa built and operated by partners, Heather Hepp and Crichton Minges. We each work in different types of glassblowing independently, but often collaborate. Crichton works at a torch with borosilicate glass. Currently, he is focused on detailed color-work shaped into elaborate patterns that he forms into large marbles, pendants, ornaments, and sculptures. I work from a glassblowing furnace. My work is often of transparent colors with simple patterns. I like to make bottles, vases, bowls, kinetic mobiles, ornaments, sculpture and garden art. Our work continues to expand as we dearly love what we do and enjoying sharing that with others.
